Your Home Based Internet Business - 9 Crucial Elements Part 2

This is part two of my three part series entitled "9 Crucial Elements of Your Home Based Internet Business." In the first segment, we listed three absolute musts for your new e-enterprise. Your business needs a low barrier to entry, is easy to duplicate by others, and needs to have a 98% hands-off level of involvement from you. These points help to insure your success and keep your prospects interested past the first few minutes in your marketing efforts. Their level of commitment to you and your offerings begin right here with the initial "So, let me tell you what I do to earn a living working for myself."

This is not a dream list that I'm putting together for you. These opportunities exist. Knowing what to look for will help guide your steps. There was a popular country song out not long ago that had a line in it that went "You have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything." This is where you arm yourself with knowledge. Let's get to what I'm covering today that you need to look for in your new life changing opportunities.

You need a business that will:

1. Allow you to keep the money that earn. If you have been involved in a work at home business in the past, did you ever feel that someone else was getting the best of your hard work? I have and I didn't like it. It is much better to keep what you earn for yourself since you earned it. Also, this would make the business more appealing to others when you tell them about it.

I would not want to bring someone to the table and say, "I have a great business idea for you! And the best part is that you get to keep 20% of what you earn!" And yet, that is what you will find again and again. Other people do not put food on my table or shoes on my kids' feet. I work for the money; I want to keep it. Not an unreasonable request. Right?

2. Have a simple compensation schedule. For those who have been involved in any kind of multi-level or network marketing plan, you know that one of the most complicated things to undertake is figuring out how you get paid when everyone above you gets their hands out of your pockets. There are any number of payment schemes around with complexity levels that leave too many people in the dark.

That is one of the reasons why prospects are directed to those who are more seasoned in the company for their recruiting. The older heads know how they're getting paid. I want a plan that I understand, is easy to share with others and is fair to me. I should be paid well for my efforts. After all, I am beginning a work at home business to provide for my family. They come first.

3. Have an actual, quality product. This element will give your internet home based business an unmatched level of legitimacy if you are able to say with confidence to others, "Let me show you what you will be able to offer to other people." You will not be able to look your prospects in the face if you know that you are giving them the distinct pleasure of trading dollars for absolutely nothing. Not only is this embarrassing, but it is illegal as well.

Further, this product needs to be one that has a usefulness. If your product is 4 wagon wheels manufactured for the express purpose of meeting the requirement of having a good to market, how useful will those be? "Friend, I have the best wagon wheels on the planet and you have to see them." Uh, then what?

In our last and final discussion, we will talk about the level of customer support that you will need, the website that you need to let people know what you have, and the strong advertising messages that you will need to motivate your viewers. If you do not have any of these three, your internet home based business will be a house of cards.

I do not trust my future to a poorly constructed business plan that was intended to withstand only the lightest breeze before collapsing. Your objectives for the birth of your enterprises are your own; however, you owe it to yourself to hitch your wagon to the best team available. Again, this is not Santa's wish list, these work at home businesses exist.

As well as giving you a reduced cost on the shelf price for your goods, they are used by the grocer to keep track of your purchases to get a profile of your habits. The stores can then use your profile to offer you coupons for the categories of the items that you buy most often. This is called "customer specific marketing."
