BSE Sensex (15160.24) and Nifty (4481.40)  closed 3.3% and 3.31% down respectively last week.Nifty Future August was quoting  at 14.40 points discont.Nifty Call Option August 4700 was very active.Support for Sensex is at 14520 and  Nifty  at 4290.Resistance for Sensex is at 15740 and Nifty is at 4650.Crude oil was at 71.56 $.

Market saw profit booking at higher levels.Concerns about not so satisfactory progress of monsoon forced the players to book profit.Initial Public Offer of NHPC which opened on 7th August 2009 received very good response on the day one.

RIL and  Tata Steel added Open Interest in August  series..Ispat Industries and Ashok Leyland  shaded Open Interest.Huge position was build up at RIL August Call Option Strike Price 2010.Good build up was also seen at Suzlon August Call Option Strike Price 90.

1. Premium .Paid=72.10*150=10815.00  Rs.

Premium Received=32.95*150=4942.50 Rs.

Net Premium Paid=10815-4942.50= 5872.50 Rs.

Maximum Profit==2130-2010=120*150=18000-5872.50=12127.50 Rs.

Break Even Price=2049.15

2)Sail(165.80) August Future-Lot Size 1350 shares.

Buy One Lot August Future @165.80

Sell One Call Option of  August Strike Price 180@4.20 Rs.

Premium Received=4.20*1350=5670.00 Rs

Maximum Profit=180-165.8==14.20*1350=19170.00+5670.00=24840.00 Rs.

Max Loss=Unlimited.
