What Is A Hyip And Why You Should Avoid It

HYIP stands for high yield investment program. As the term suggests, you get a high return for your investment, usually in the region of 1% per day profit all the way up to 100% profit. If you're completely new to HYIP then this probably just sounds too good to be true but this does actually happen. It entirely is possible to get these returns but there's a big problem.

HYIP's are known to be scams and the majority of them are. It is hit and miss when you invest in these scams because sometimes you will get paid and sometimes not. HYIP are what known as ponzis from the famous criminal Charles Ponzi. A ponzi scheme is where you take John's money to pay Peter. They usually claim to make money by trading or forex etc but any knowledgeable investor knows it's just a front. HYIP thrives on new money entering the program or it will collapse. The ones that are usually affected most are the last investors.

When I was first introduced to HYIP it was my first taste of making money online. I immediately thought that this was the answer to my financial problems. How wrong was I! If I think about it properly, why would anyone want to make money for me when they can make it for themselves? I was only 18 at the time and naive but it was a learning experience.

HYIP should be avoided because what most people seem to forget is that they are not investing (such a bad term for this industry) they are merely gambling. You are better of going to a real casino. HYIP's are simply scams but it's amazing it just seems to keep attracting new people and money. Either people fear losing potential money or they just like gambling.
