The aim of the funds is to increase the dividend income as well as the capital gains, just like the aggressive growth funds. They mostly invest in blue chip stocks. Income funds are another different type. There are mutual funds known as bond funds. They invest in corporate and government bonds. They attract very high return rates, but not in the same proportion to the amount of bonds that one has bought. The return primarily depends on the trading of the bonds in the stock market. Other funds are the international, which are primarily invested in foreign securities. They come with two kinds of risks; one is the normal economic risk that comes with holding stocks. The other is the currency risk which is associated with getting the money back after realizing profits.
