Bracelets like any other jewelry are worn to show off your prosperity and personality. Bracelets, though a major part of today’s jewelry market, can be traced back to the times of 2500 BC. The earliest bracelets were those worn by the Sumerians in Southern Mesopotamia where they were worn by wives to show off their husbands’ prosperity. This was the time when the jewelry and all other precious possessions, including the servants, though not very precious, of the deceased would be buried along with him.
 
 Bracelets then came up as a major part of jewelry in the Ancient Egypt by around 2000 BC. It was during the times of Egyptian Pharaohs that charm bracelets came into existence though charms as a concept existed right from the Neolithic age. With the course of time, the materials used to make bracelets changed from leather and other animal parts to precious gemstones and diamonds. 
 
 If we take a look at the present, we would see bracelets sported by everyone without any barriers on age, gender and financial disposition. The difference would only be in the type of metals and gemstones used in addition to the design of the bracelets. Jewelry designers are conscious enough about the market trend to give the customers what they like. And this is visible from the different sections that each jewelry site has depending on the gender, age and price range.
