Native American Jewelry History

We all know that and to beautify the use of jewelry has been around since prehistoric times. And pearl necklaces of pearls called heishe, which were calculated from Santo Domingo for word hull, have been used for ages. South America West is an ideal place to find great Native American Indian jewelry. The Navajo tribe in Arizona and New Mexico and can easily be called the greatest of USA Indian reserve. The Hopi tribe is also in Arizona, while Santo Domingo and Zuni Pueblo, NM.

The skills and art of American Indian jewelry is transmitted generations and is highly coveted.  Now there are schools who teach these skills who want to learn. Native American Indian Jewelry is a great way to make a bold statement.
