Marble- It is a metamorphic rock comprising of calcium carbonate or calcite. Some people prefer marble more than granite mainly because of their classy appeal and elegance. No stone can shine or glitter like marble and stay exact the way it is for years to come without any decay. Sculptors around the world use marble for their exquisite quality.

As compared to granite, marble are softer, which means the marble gets damaged easily and so needs replacement more often when you use them as kitchen countertops, tiles, and in bathrooms. In addition, marble is porous in nature, which means that they are prone to scratches.

Hence, whether you choose marble or granite for kitchen remodeling bay area is entirely your prerogative. Make a confirmed and conscious choice knowing its benefits and disadvantages. In both cases, they are affordable and add the chic feeling to kitchen countertops.
