Hunter Xc Controller Timers Provide Flexibility for Residential Landscape Irrigation

For residential landscapes, flexibility and versatility are key necessities of irrigation control panels, and the Hunter XC Controller Timer provides these necessary functions, and then some. For homeowners with complicated landscapes composted of various lawn and garden areas, the Hunter XC Irrigation Controllers are a great way to keep irrigation programs organized, thus keeping plants healthy. The units come in indoor and outdoor models, and can accommodate four, six or eight stations. Each unit in this series has similar features and benefits for the user.
Flexibility to Accommodate Variable Plant Watering Needs
Each irrigation station controlled on the XC Controller Timer can accommodate one or two valves, in addition to a main valve for the entire panel. Three different programs with four daily start times allow for essentially 12 different watering schedules. Regional watering restrictions and regulations have become more frequent and stringent. Manual overrides help residents comply with watering regulations. Owners can designate permanent "days off" to ensure that the system does not turn on during times of water restrictions. Rain delays of between 1-7 days can also be set. The global seasonal adjustment feature and 365 day calendar make programming easy.
Convenient for Landscape Contractors
An essential component of irrigation control systems is the ability of the landscape contractor to program the system, and if necessary re-program the system. Among the convenient features is the ability of the contractor to set a default program that can be recalled from memory if the homeowner accidentally re-sets the timers to undesirable cycles. If a resident calls in a problem with the system, the automatic system checks allow irrigation contractors to run a set of automatic diagnosis with the Hunter Quick Check system. The lithium backup battery ensures that any programs saved will be maintained in the event of a power loss.
Multi-Featured Dial System makes this Controller Multi-Functional
In addition to controlling the irrigation system, this Hunter controller can also be hooked in to various weather sensors-temperature, rainfall, and wind speed and direction. The program dial is easy to use, which means that landscape contractors can show homeowners how to manage the controls themselves, but with the confidence that original settings can always be recalled if the homeowner inadvertently erases something.
Indoor and Outdoor Models Provide Superior Function
Hunter XC Irrigation Controllers come in both indoor and outdoor models. The outdoor model is configured for installation with an internal junction box, while indoor models include plug-in transformers. Each unit can operate up to three solenoid valves simultaneously for maximum area coverage. Electronic short-circuit detection and backup power sources keep the controller working under the harshest of conditions. Extra memory capability keeps programs stored in case of long-term power failure. For residential landscapes maintained by contractors or homeowners, the Hunter XC Controller Timers deliver consistent performance and value to keep lawns and gardens looking beautiful!
