Take some isopropyl alcohol and this is not the same as rubbing alcohol that you have also.  Rubbing alcohol contains oils that this kind does not.  You need to mix purified distilled water with this alcohol to make it 50 percent of each.  Bottled water can work if it says distilled on the actual label. Now take the mixture of the distilled water mixed with the isopropyl alcohol and put into a spray bottle of some kind.  You want to spray it on a rag in such a way that it is not concerntated in one area, but it is dispersed evently.  Please don't spray the solution directly on the lcd laptop screen to get in clean, the solution could get inside the pc and ruin the hardware.
