PORTLAND, ME (October 26, 2007) - Five attorneys have joined the law firm of Verrill Dana, LLP. All are assigned to the firm’s Portland office: Elizabeth M. Frankel, Paul J. Greene, Brian R. Patterson, Alistair Y. Raymond and Victoria A. Sarfo-Kantanka.
Elizabeth M. Frankel has joined Verrill Dana’s Trial Department. Elizabeth earned her law degree from the New York University School of Law. Her undergraduate studies were conducted at Middlebury College, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in American Civilization and Spanish. Prior to joining Verrill Dana, Elizabeth was associated with the New York office of Morrison & Foerster, and later clerked for Justice Susan Calkins of the Maine Supreme Court.
Paul J. Greene graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree and a Master's degree in American History at Brandeis University. Paul also attended the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where he earned a Master's degree in TV, Radio and Film.
Brian R. Patterson has joined Verrill Dana’s Business Law Department. A Maine native, Brian has returned to Maine after four years of practice at Goodwin Procter in Boston. Brian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, and is a graduate of the Boston College Law School.
Alistair Y. Raymond graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law. Alistair received an M.B.A. from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Science from Saint Lawrence University with majors in chemistry and philosophy.
Victoria A. Sarfo-Kantanka earned her law degree from William and Mary School of Law. Victoria also attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration.
