In the event of an injury, you need to know that you have rights and that your rights will be protected.
Personal injury is one of the leading causes of people getting hurt in the Country today. Whether the personal injury is due to accident or medical negligence, the person who is injured needs to be protected.
It is important that you seek out the services of a Personal Injury Attorney when you are first injured. He or she will protect you and make sure that your best interests are met.
A personal injury attorney is an attorney who specializes in personal injury cases. They do not take any other type of cases and are proficient in the laws governing personal injury.
An accident or injury can be devastating. It can cause you to lose time at work and also many weeks or months of pain. A Personal injury attorney can protect your interest and make sure that all of your medical costs are covered.
Each state has their own laws governing personal injury, and each personal injury lawyer knows the laws of their state, however there are a few who have gained the reputation of being the best in the country. Personal injury lawyers in Louisiana have the unique ability to see a case and know that they can get what their client deserves. All too often people lose their cases due to the ineffectual legal representation that they have.
An accident can be the single worst thing that can happen to anyone. It can have lasting debilitating effects, not only physically but financially as well. It can keep you from work and force you through months if not years of rehabilitation and therapy that can be more painful than the injury itself.
When you have been in an accident, it can be the most confusing time of your life. You do not know what happened or what you should do next. It is important that you know there is someone on your side, and looking out for your best interest. That is what a Personal Injury Lawyer is for just you, allowing you to recover from your ordeal without having to worry about financial problems.
Personal injury lawyers in Louisiana do not require any money up front. They work on a contingency basis, which means that they get paid only if you receive a settlement. This gives them the incentive to work harder on your case. They can also arrange medical care with the understanding that payment will be made when a settlement is reached. This will give you peace of mind in knowing that your medical costs will be covered.
Personal injury lawyers are the good guys. They protect you when you need it most and will negotiate a settlement that covers not only your medical costs, but also your pain and suffering.
It is important that you find a personal injury attorney as soon as possible after you have been injured to insure that all of your rights are protected and that you receive what you deserve in a settlement.

Log Book, Schmog Book
By: Suzanne At Coops | 29/04/2007 | Small Business
Truckers have to keep a detailed record of their daily activities- it's called a log book. But do the ever-changing hours of service rules really make for safer truckers? Safe truckers are safe, regardless of hours of service rules. Unsafe truckers are unsafe. Lawyers use logbooks as "proof" of violations, but you just can't legislate sleep or safety.
Who are the Hypocrites Who Deserve Woe in the Three Religions?
By: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil | 28/06/2007 | Humor
According to the Bible, the obvious examples of the Hypocrites are the Pharisees and the lawyers who were the top religious Jews; Jesus described them as: 1) They shut up the kingdom of heaven against men, 2) They devour widows' houses, and make long prayer, 3) They swear by the gold of the temple, 4) They omit the law, judgment, mercy, and faith, 5) They make clean the outside but the interior is full of extortion, 6) They build the tombs of the prophets who were killed by their fathers! 7) They love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, 8) they are as graves which appear not, etc.
On the other hand, the Quran says that 1) The Hypocrites' hearts are hardened against the Remembrance of Allah., 2) they are the diminishers (defrauders), who, when people measure for them, take full measure, but when they measure or weigh for others, they reduce!, 3) Each one of them is a scandal-monger and-backbiter, who is gathered wealth, thinking his wealth will render him immortal, 4) They deny the Day of judgment, repulse the orphan, do not encourage the feeding of the needy, neglect their prayers and want to be seen, 5) They do not prostrate and worship their Lord and belie the Quran! Then the Quran is forewarning them and says: eat and enjoy yourselves in this life, it is little!, and the Quran asks them: Did we not destroy the ancients (the former generations)?, then the Quran depicts their ultimate fate at the Day of Judgment!

on jan.23 I was arrested for gross sexual assault on my daughter. When I was arrested I was never read my rights by the officer. When I reached the jail I was met by the detective,he told me that he would make sure I would receive twenty years in prison.I asked for a polygraph test and I received it four days later, which I passed with ease. After I had proven my self innocent the child protective services accused me of my new wifes daughter.Debra from child protective services got my wife to sign a piece of paper that she told her would help us and the kids, the piece of paper kicked me out of my house.I lived with my parents until the state said I was o.k to go home.I have been proven innocent by the state district attorney, child protective services, and the judge of Knox county.I have been six and a half months and I haven't seen my two little girls yet.The judge of Knox county said I could see the kids on march 10 but my exwife is holding them away from me.I'm still in court battling for custody hopefully I get it soon. The state knows now that the story my daughter told was all lies that my exwife made her say to get custody.I was in custody battle before I was accused of gross sexual assualt. My exwife has also bad mouthed me at the bar rooms, after I was proven innocent. What kind of a lawsuit could I get out of what has happened to me?
