As the lease forms are the most important part of a lease agreement, they are to be kept most after they are signed. People sometimes neglect the conditions being applied in a lease form, which cause them more problems as the time passes. As looking at all these requirements for a good lease agreement it may seem that the law has provided more security and freedom to the landlords; however, it is not the fact as the tenants are protected equally through lease forms. According to Civil Rights Act 1968, landlords cannot extend discriminatory behavior with the tenants and just in case tenants can take the help of the law to file complaint against the landlord as per lease forms. Therefore, filling up lease forms is an easy way out of such complications in future.
Before signing any lease form always make it clear to first yourself then to the landlord, that there can be no discrimination in this agreement and you can add some clauses to the agreement or can amend the clauses written by the landlord to rather equal ones in the same lease form. It is more obvious that the landlord may enforce his/her conditions on the tenant through amending lease form; however, you know the law you can stand on equal terms and conditions in this regard that should taken down on the lease form.
