Astrology And Its Value In Modern World

If you consider astrology in the present day times, it has grown into a full-fledged business which is minting money for the astrologers.  Each rising day witnesses the rise of new astrologers from absolutely nowhere. No offence please! This, though does not deny the fact that there do exist reliable and truthful astrologers, but the outlining reality that the fakers jeopardize the existence of the ‘trustworthy lot’  cannot be neglected at the same time.

Where astrology is concerned people often misinterpret palm reading, tarot card reading and all the like categories in the same category of astrology. Though, they are more or less same, yet differ to certain extent. All the fields mean to state the position of stars and their effects and the present life of people but they all study these aspects differently. So logically, they should be understood differently.

Astrology forms a part of everyday life for many people whether they admit it or not! Many of us don’t like being asked, “Do you really believe what comes in all those forecasts in newspapers or television?” So to avoid answering to all that we just say, “Not at all! I just read it for time pass.” But if we ask ourselves, this is really not true. Because to some extent or the other, we do believe the daily or weekly forecasts that appear in newspaper or magazine columns or being telecast on television. For many of us, the day starts with the daily forecast and many of us even plan the day accordingly.

But what is so shameful in admitting to it! It is the fact that there are many an astrologers these days, so to trust who becomes the big question. Though, we would agree to the saying ‘Ignorance is Bliss’ yet we are all keen to know what lies ahead- in the future and the very next moment!  As a matter of fact, astrology is prospering as a business due to the blind faith that we show in all the astrologers; no matter who!

India, a land of snake charmers- as called by the Britons, has come far from the set image. Our faith in astrology is not wrong, so to say, but it has to have a firm ground of trust worthiness. To believe in what we have believed always is not a wrong act but to believe in what is right is aptly demanded of everyone. Astrology is the way of life for many people, and as far as it is accurate, let it be!
