"Mine host the ghost.
Many years ago when I was quite young, and a delightful young women and very "full of Myself, and also full of great ambition.
I had at that time in my life decided one thing which I wanted most of all was to own my house.
This idea along with many others was put there by my Father whom I have to admit put many startling ideas into my fertile young mind.
Wonderful things happened to me because as time went on I did manage own my own house, it was small but it was mine..
However as my children grew in number they also grew in size, as well as getting older.
I soon began to realize this house was now not big enough for all of us to fit into in a comfortable sort of way so I then and there decided we would have to have a much bigger house.
It would have to be the right size and in the right place and most of all the right price.
Quite a lot to ask for.
The right size was important because I had a husband and seven children, I was like the old woman who lived in a shoe, I had so many children I didn't know what to do however ever I had no regrets we did not have a lot, but we were happy and we got by.
I knew what I wanted, and that had been to own my very own house and now I needed a very much bigger one.
My parents had owned there own house and while I was growing up my parents gave me and my brothers and sisters a lot of good advice, my father would say to us have your own roof over your head and then no one can turn you out or tell you where to go.
Make sure you have some money in your pocket for a rainy day, as your pocket is your best friend, my dad was always giving us good advice.
I am very glad to say that I did listen to some of it and now wish I had listened to more and taken a little more notice of his many, "words of wisdom.

My Mother
By: Herpha Jane Obod | 05/11/2009Many times we look for love. We sacrifice; we triumph; we conquer; we beg; we strive; we hope; we do everything just for love. But sometimes in our quest for love, we tend to forget there is someone who loved us, keeps loving us, and will always love us.
Ballad in the Night
By: Herpha Jane Obod | 05/11/2009Distance could never separate two hearts that beat as one. True love grows not only in the presence of two people who deeply loved each other. Even in the absence of a person dearly loved, the heart can find its way to heaven, reach the stars, and command the wind to reunite two hearts. For a heart that truly loves knows no distance, space, or time. It only knows how to love.
