When I opened the door and the wind blew fierce and strong there were times the wind of memory nearly blew
the door of its hinges, there were times when I began to think, will I ever be able to close this door again
Times when I laughed and laughed and many times when I wished I had never ever begun this journey
down memory lane.
.There were times when I cried so hard I thought I would never stop, and many times when I did not want to let go
of what I had begun to remember, I wanted to keep so many of these things with me and never lose them,
never let them ever go away again, even if some were painfull.
.
All the people I loved and had loved and those who had loved me, all of those I went to school with people I had known all my life and of cause their life, many gone now, then worst of all I got so upset I stopped writing, I just had to.
When it came to my family, Mother, Father my brothers and sisters all my friends I could not continue I found I had to stop at least for a little while.
Memory had become much too painful.
.
After a time I began to get my act together, the great thing called fortitude stepped in, I had through my life developed loads of that commodity, now also there were my grandchildren to whom I wanted to tell these stories also there friends, and my friends children, anybody else who was interested enough to listen, so after a while I knew I had to begin this story again and keep going.
