Calorie Control Key to Lasting Weight Loss

If you are looking for the next miracle pill that will “shed the pounds forever” then you might as well stop reading now because you will not find that here or anywhere for that matter.

If you are tired of the “dead end diets” with little or no results then I encourage you to keep reading as you are about to find out how to get the body, health, and happiness you desire.

At the end of the day all that matters when it comes to your waistline is calories in and calories out. It is plain and simple the control is in the calories. It doesn’t matter if you eat fat, carbs, meats, veggies, and fruits. All that matters is how many calories you ate and how many you burned.

Fact: It takes 3500 calories consumed a day to gain 1 pound.

Does that number sound high to you? Well it really depends on the food. You can reach that number very fast in any given day if you don’t know how many calories you are eating. If you know what to eat based off calories alone you can drop pounds left and right.

Fact: It takes 500 less calories consumed a day to lose 1 pound a week.

Let’s look at a one day example of what someone could eat while on a calorie controlled program.

Age: 32

Female

Current weight: 175

Height: 5’5”

Goal weight: 125

BMI: 29.1 overweight

Activity level: light

Resting energy expenditure: 1521

Calories needed daily to maintain weight 2434

Calories needed to lose 2-4 pounds a week 1600

This person is currently eating at least 2400 calories a day. In order for her to lose weight she needs to lower her calorie intake by at least 500 calories a day to lose 1 pound a week. Going a little lower will result in faster weight loss but you can’t go to low based on your weight. Here is an example of what this person can eat on any given day.

Breakfast: Fiber one bar 140 calories.

Snack: serving of roasted almonds 160 calories.

Lunch: Burger King whopper jr no cheese small onion rings iced tea 513 calories.

Snack: 100 calorie snack of choice

Dinner: Steak salad broccoli and cheese sauce bread 600 calories.

Snack: 100 calorie snack.

Drinks: water, and iced tea zero calories

Total for the day 1613 calories.

Does this sound like a diet to you? It doesn’t to me at all. The fiber bar helps your metabolism. The almonds help your metabolism, make you feel full, and are a natural weight loss promoting food. The lunch is the treat but still low enough in calories. The snack gets that sweet tooth. The dinner is filling yet the person probably didn’t eat it all as they were probably feeling full.
