Fresno City College gives all individuals an opportunity to attain the skills and expertise they need to pursue or further their career goals. Many of the programs at Fresno City College are at the top of their field. The fire and police academies as well the ROTC program are number one in the state. Both degree and non-degree programs are available ensuring that students receive the education needed to enter the workforce prepared and at the top of their field.
The College works very closely with the student body to assure that each student is an active participant in their education. Students are provided assistance in all areas of their life to create the optimum opportunity for academic success. In many cases tutors are assigned to students upon enrollment as well as interpreters who assist students in meeting the requirements of classwork.
