Business Process Reengineering Secret to Successful Business

The successful business means, successful on both financial and management levels. I personally feel Business Process Re-engineering plays important role in today's business world. Let's try what's business Process reengineering or better known, as BPR is, well BPR means understanding processes involved in your company from root level and changing them from root level.
We are well aware of china’s growing economy, people feel China has simply increased production to decrease of cost of production but I challenge any body to follow this policy to compete China, that person definitely going to lose. China actually has implemented BPR along with related technologies like ERP, supply chain Management.
Enterprise Resource Planning is the process of Planning for all resources like all departments including finance, production, HR, sales etc. ERP means collaboration of all environments bonded together with common software implemented by companies like SAP ,Oracle ,People Soft etc. Amazingly failure rate in case of ERP software is 80% and main reason being process not being studied before starting on the process. Supply Chain Management is process planning whole chain of management ,ranging from suppliers supplier to customers customer. Successfully planed Supply chain results in smooth flow of product from raw material shape till it reaches its final delivery shape. It also saves wastage and handling cost ,as one orders and manufacture according to exact requirement of the companies.
Basic principles of BPR are as follows:
First principle is changing process from root level, most of the people feel that improving or changing existing processes is BPR but this is a very wrong perception. First principle hence states that you must change the process entirely and not keeping any thing from the previous process.
Second principle states that Business Process must be planed in such a way sequence of processes is optimum. Companies are suppose to change the processes according to well planned software instead of changing software according to existing process , resulting in failure of whole system.
Third principle is viewing process as part of company ,instead of planning an individual process, without considering how it fits into the system.

Hence Studying ,Planning and changing the processes in well planned way will result in excellent outcomes. It will benefit companies at the top to stay at number one. It will also help companies which are going to sink because of ill planned processes and also the companies which failed because of bad processes.
