Kui Buri, Thailand – October 2008 - Astudo Hotel & Resort Management, holder of X2, Away and Le Bayburi brands, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tee Chansorn as Resort Manager for X2 Resort Kui Buri.
In his position Khun Tee, a Thai National, will be responsible for the entire resort operations of X2 Resort Kui Buri. Graduated from Siam Business College majoring in Hotel Management and Srinakharinwirot University majoring in Tourist Guide, combined with his 15 year experience in the hotel industry, he brings a wealth experience to X2 Resorts.
“We are confident Khun Tee’s hard working ethos and commitment to customer satisfaction are attributes that will serve the resort and our guests well,” said Klaus R. Rauter, Group General Manager of Astudo Hotel & Resort Management.
Throughout his career in hotel operations he has fulfilled an extensive number of management positions for several leading hotels including U-Chiang Mai Hotel, Six-Senses Hideaway, Evason Resorts, Marriot Hotels, The Peninsula Bangkok and Le Meridian Resorts.
Opened in December 2007 besides a peaceful seaside village in Prachuap Khiri Khan, the X2 Kui Buri is an exclusive beach resort of just 23 villas set amidst 4 acres of virgin beachfront land and provides a sanctuary of peace. Situated just south of Hua Hin and only a 3 hour drive from Bangkok, X2 Kui Buri offers a refreshing blend of metropolitan sophistication, superior facilities and sensory-rich products and services.

Astudo Hotel & Resort Management operates and manages X2 Resorts (www.X2resorts.com), Away Resorts (www.awayresorts.com) and Le Bayburi (www.lebayburi.com). Away Resorts tend to be designed in a simple but comfortable manner with a distinctive tropical Polynesian theme and traditional Thai hospitality. The first Away resort opened in October 2007 in Koh Kood, followed by Away Tusita Chumphon in September 2008 and Away SuanSawan Mae Rim, Chiang Mai scheduled to open in November 2008. Away Koh Pha Ngan and Away Koh Samui are scheduled to open late 2009.
