5 Things to Avoid for Quality Sticker Prints

There are 5 things to be avoided in creating and using sticker prints. These important things must be kept in mind in order for the clients to maintain the quality of the printed materials. In addition, people who want to create wall stickers for decoration must learn the things to avoid in sticker creation. This is to provide them quality stickers that leave a lasting impression.

• Avoid borders for stickers.

Customers must always be aware that some online printing companies do not recommend having borders on any label or sticker print. This is because there may be a possibility that the border can be mistakenly cut through by the cutters.

• Avoid sprinkling water to the stickers.

Stickers are not water proof, only water-resistant. Stickers are UV coated to become durable and water-resistant. This is why it is important for clients to keep the stickers away from wet places. Children can’t play with the printed stickers because they may sprinkle water to the prints.

• Avoid complex color and font for texts.

The texts on the sticker prints must be clearly seen. To give emphasis, the text must be in strong font and color that is contrasting to the background color.

• Avoid cluttered design.

Stickers are used not just to display images and texts, but also to deliver message to the target audience. Clients must not clutter the sticker prints with so many color combinations, images and texts. Customers must decide on what they want to emphasize and accentuate on the sticker prints.

• Avoid negligence and send your file for proofing.

Potential clients can always seek for a printing company to do a sticker printing project. If customers want to customize sticker prints, they must send their digital files online for proofing. Graphic designers from a printing company will evaluate the images and photos sent by a specific customer. With this, printing erroneous files can be avoided.

Avoiding these things will keep the wall stickers safe from any damage. Furthermore, the quality of the sticker prints can be maintained, and the message will be clearly conveyed to the target audience.
