In early 2004, John Reese stunned the online marketing community by selling out a high-priced seminar. The best and brightest marketers attended. For 3 days, Mr. Reese spoke about his experiences in the online marketing arena. Operating under the radar away from prying eyes, John Reese had begun building an empire long before most other marketers have even ventured online. But, his career wasn't only paved with success. Failures also littered the path. It was through sheer determination and persistence that he was able to ultimately achieve his goals. However, to understand the man, it's important to understand his successes and failures.

A Difficult Beginning

Like most "overnight" successes, John Reese's success took more than a decade to achieve. Starting with a passion inspired by youth, a desire to succeed and a dream of a better life, Mr. Reese chased opportunity as he struggled to build his business. Soon, he found himself burdened with more than $100,000 in debt. Stress became a cornerstone in his life and he began to have health problems. He ultimately ended up in the hospital as his body began to betray him. This turned out to be a turning point in his life. He refocused his efforts, paid off his debts and built a multi-million dollar empire from the ground up.

Getting By Giving

Even before holding his sold-out event in 2004, John Reese had begun showing up at various seminars and conferences. But, rather than speaking from the stage, he preferred helping others in the hallways and lobbies of the hotels in which the events took place. He gave marketing advice freely, offering his experience and knowledge without holding back. Instantly, people realized there was something special about this man. John Reese spoke with an authority gained from years spent in the trenches of online marketing. And he gave advice without hesitation. He built friendships quickly and other marketers gravitated toward him naturally.

In late 2004, he released his Traffic Secrets product, which resulted in over $1,000,000 in sales within the 24 hours of its launch. In January 2005, he launched his monthly newsletter, attracting accolades from every corner of the marketing community. Today, John Reese focuses most of his attention on his flagship website and community and is considered one of the most knowledgeable and successful online marketers in history.

Perseverance And Determination

More than any other qualities, John Reese has shown the value of perseverance and determination. Early in his career, he experienced stress unknown to most people as he found himself under a mountain of debt, battling serious health problems. Fighting back with renewed focus, John Reese built an empire and created a new life for himself. Today, he continues to give marketing advice freely.
