Article Marketing For Link Building

I know for a fact that article marketing is an effective way to build links back to my websites because it's been the primary method that I have used to build links to my websites for years now.

And why should you care that I have been using this method? Because I have been able to make a full time living working online for over 4 years now and I have made the great majority of my money through "organic search results" (not pay per click advertisements.)

Basically what I'm saying is that because of the power of article marketing I haven't been living the nightmare (as I see it) of a "real job" a very long time.

Of course there are a lot of different ways to go about doing article marketing, so which ways do I recommend? Which ways have really worked for me? Well for the most part I make use of article distribution services which take an article that I submit to them and submit that one article to hundreds (if not, thousands) of websites. This enables me to get back many links on many different websites for writing just one article.

Most (but not all) of the article distribution services I use have a "spinning" function which allows me to "spin" my article manually so that unique (and still very readable) articles go out to every site that posts my article. This helps to avoid the "duplicate content filter" so that any links I build up continue to remain over time instead of being filtered.

Let me explain in a step by step way how I make money online using article marketing.

First of all, I set up a website which includes "landing pages" which promote products that I'm an affiliate for. For example let's say that I am promoting dog training guides. Thus I set up a review site which reviews various dog training guides and no matter which one the customer chooses, I get a commission. I like to rely on my own domains, not web 2.0 sites as you can never tell whether they will delete your page or something similar.

Secondly, I write informative articles about dogs (they don't necessarily have to be specifically about dog training, but that helps) which link back to my dog training guide promoting landing pages.

That's it actually. It's just a two step process. Obviously there are some more details such as "keyword research" which is making sure that people are actually searching for the keyword phrases that I am targeting but that's going beyond the scope of this article. My main point is that in my opinion there is no better way to build links than article marketing.

I can simply repeat this process over and over again with new landing pages (keyword targets) and make more and more money over time. And of course it gets easier and easier to get my pages to rank well in the search engines as they grow in age and as they get more and more links in to them from all of my articles.
