Boost Online Sales With the Email Marketing Two-step

I have been involved with online marketing for a number of years and while I won't tell you I've seen everything, I've seen enough to know that the vast majority of people and businesses trying to make money online are missing the boat in a big way.

The idea of being able to simply throw up a web site and start raking in the sales is simply nothing more than a myth. Usually, this myth is told by the company that is selling you on the idea of building a web site for your business.

I'm not saying that companies should not have a web site. In fact, I would have a hard time thinking of a company that shouldn't have a web site.

The problem is that most web sites are designed for a one-step approach to sales. When a visitor comes to their site, they either buy or they don't. If that visitor leaves without placing their order (and most do), they are gone.

Studies have shown that 70 percent of the people who are ready, willing, and able to buy online do not complete the sale. The reasons given may include anything from poor website design to not being able to easily find the content they are looking for.

Most businesses focus so much on getting people to their website that they forget the whole point which is converting those visitors into paying customers.

It's great to get tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of visitors to your website but if you aren't closing the deal and making sales, who cares?

This one-step method of building a site and hoping people purchase during their first visit is simply ineffective and expensive.

I recommend The Email Marketing Two-Step which still involves getting visitors to your website but then takes the second step of collecting their contact information.

How is this done? You need to get and use an AutoResponder.

What is an AutoResponder?

Simply put, an AutoResponder is a system that AUTOmatically RESPONDs to any requests for information.
