With a little creativity, you can have your brochure prints fast and cheap through online printing companies. They offer well-designed, ready-made templates that you can choose from or you can have it customized. Below are the 5 effective strategies for designing your brochures.

5 Strategies on How to Design your Brochure.

1. Plan and organize. Print brochures must be planned and organized. Consider your goal and determine who your target market is. Determine your budget so you could play around these figure in coming up with your design.

2. Content and size. Content is king. Consider the content of your brochure. Provide a compelling headline that would make your brochure irresistible and would make your prospective clients want to open and read it. Your content is related to the size of your brochure. Depending on the number of pictures and copy, your brochure can be 8 ½ x 11 spread size, tri-fold with 6 panels or a simple 8 ½ x 11 spread size folded into two with 4 panels. Put bleeds around your size. Bleed is an allowance for printing in sheets. A 1/8 margin around will be a safe allowance for print brochures. The cost of printing brochures will also be dependent on your size and the paper stock you will use.

3. Paper Stock. Paper stock play a great role in your brochures uniqueness and image. Glossy paper creates a classy image and colors stand out when printed on it. You may also opt to use matte finish with varnish. Brochures are mostly printed on a 100lb or 80lb stock.

4. Images. Keep in mind that as a rule, your images should at least be 300 dpi to create the full sharpness of the colors in print.

5. Lay-Out. Remember that lay-out is the meat of your brochure. Front covers play an important role in determining whether a prospective client will pick up your brochure or not. Back covers are where invitations are usually placed or more information on your products or services.
