Corporate and individuals alike are waking up to the importance of fitness in human life. They all want a quick fix to their fitness problems and are ready to pay a premium price for that. Thus the creators of fitness marketing plans are laughing all the way to the bank!
You live in a world that's obese. Even if you are not, then every third person around you definitely is and this what the official figures say. And finally people have realized it. There has been an increased usage of fitness facilities among individuals and 'working out' is no longer a fancy of the rich. Most fitness marketing plans aim to exploit this fact.
And why not? All over the world there are reports of impending health crises. In fact countries such as America have been declared 'obese' because a majority of their population suffers from obesity related issues. To great extent this has to do with unhealthy diets of fast food, incorrect food habits and very low or poor activity schedules.
Often teenagers are spending their entire day shifting between the chairs of the class room and the chair in front of their PC! So these children grow up to be obese adults and thus unfit employees in different companies.
That is why more and more companies are running after fitness marketing plans. They want their work force to be lean and fit so as to increase productivity. This is because ailments such as obesity can lead to lethargy and generally slow speeds of work.
Companies also want to cut down on the expenses that they have to incur every year for bearing medical liability of their employees. By inducing employees to work out and thereby maintain healthier lifestyles, companies aim to lower their expenses substantially.
So fitness marketing plans help them to reduce cost centers such as medical insurance premiums, compensation claims and other hospital expenses. They also want to reduce absenteeism, turnover rates and revitalize the work force. After all, a healthy group of employees provides a positive boost to the companies' image too.
So it's a win-win situation for the corporate if they can include health plans in the 'basket of goodies' that they offer to their employees. So they can make such fringe benefits a part of the compensation package while lowering the monetary element in it. Thus while they are able to project the image of an employer who is conscious of the health and well being of their employees they can actually offer lower sums of money without making the overall package look unattractive.
This is why more and more gyms, spas, and other fitness clinics are approaching corporate with their fitness marketing plans. Companies are more than willing to tie up with the more renowned ones in order to boost their profile.
So the companies may also look at including the fitness packages as part of the compensation to employees because not only would it make them appear more attractive as an employer, they would also be able to maintain a healthier work force as a whole.
Thus it is for sure that fitness marketing plans are among the hottest business ideas of today!
