One of the most powerful internet marketing concepts is viral marketing. Viral marketing is in essence, creating a product that you want to spread viral, like a virus, across the internet. How can you create an ebook that will work in a viral marketing strategy? First thing you can do is write one yourself. Then it's easy to put any information you want in. What if you don't really want to write your own ebook, what if you choose instead to purchase a PLR, or Private Label Right’s collection to resell? How do you turn those books into something that will help you virally? The key to making an ebook viral is to be able to put links in it that will, when clicked, send the reader where you want him to go. In order to do that you will need to modify your PLR books, so the first thing you need to do is be sure that the specific PLR license you purchase with your collection allows you to modify the contents of the books.
The next step is to add links to your website at some appropriate places in the book. For example, if the book is about how to drive traffic to your website, and you have other books you are selling from your website that also are about generating traffic, you may put a link in an appropriate part of the book. Say there is a section discussing using articles to generate traffic, you put your link immediately following that section with a sentence saying "for more information about using articles to drive traffic click here."
You would do that for as many areas of the book that would be appropriate and for as many websites or products that you could link to that would make sense. But you don't want to just limit this to your own websites.
You should also use affiliate links. You should be able to find appropriate affiliate programs that can fit almost any part of any book on any subject. Create affiliate links and place them throughout the book just as you did for your own links. You want to create every opportunity for your reader to click on a link. Every time one of the links gets clicked, you have the ability to make money.
After you have spaced your links throughout the book, you create a resources section at the end of the book where you list all of the links again. Now you have added another place in the book that your reader has a chance to click a link that could make you money.
Once you have added the links to the body and the resource section, your ebook is ready to go viral. Let it loose and watch it spread through the internet sending tons of traffic to all the sites that can make you money.
