If you want the strongest marketing campaign possible than you have to know some of the tricks to strengthen all of your marketing.
The very concept of a marketing campaign has to do with combining more than one form of marketing together to have the biggest impact possible. You aren’t just worried about a single advertisements but how that one initial advertisement might be able to boost up all of your others and greatly increase your sales.
So how exactly does this work? Okay, so you have a sale coming up. You decide to send out a bunch of different postcards telling people about the sale and encouraging them to come in. This is the first step, but only the first step, towards your marketing.
The second thing you do is print posters. You put up these posters all around the areas around your store, and certainly in your store. These posters are going to focus on different products both on sale, and products you just want to promote. The point is to increase awareness of these other products. Once someone is in your store and they see these posters they’re going to be more likely to take note of them, especially what they have to say.
Now you can help increase sales on products that weren’t necessarily on sale, because when you print posters like these you’re building upon your initial marketing.
But there’s still more to come. Next you have a number of color brochures made mentioning the various details about some of your more expensive products. The way to make this work best is if the expensive products are associated with the first sale.
Let’s say you have DVD players on sale, which brings someone into the electronics section of your store. Well, make sure you have brochures made that talk about how great a home entertainment center is, and mentions different things about TVs, audio systems, and other ways to improve viewing quality.
The first sale gains their interest in the idea, and your follow up marketing makes sure that you can build on that interest and increase your sales in other areas.
Because you were ready with the brochures you were able to capitalize on the interest they had already had in DVD players, and encourage them to look into buying other things. You can emphasize this even more if some of the posters you have up are advertising various movies.
This is just one example I’m giving here, and you can combine even more different types of marketing to achieve similar results. All you need to know is that the more aspects there are to your marketing, the more potent it becomes, and the more sales you’ll generate from it.
