My 17 year old son has a severely torn ACL. We are going to get a second opinion and decide what route to go. we have heard pro's and cons of both. What about "LARS" is there anyone in the states doing that?they say the healing time is alot quicker and they are not down for half as long. He is a senior and is the kicker for his football team(kicking 65 yards without effort. Schools were following. Of course that is all gone in a quick second. We are devastated. We live in Northern California and have a appointment with a top notch docter.Either way he will loose his senior year.
