As a fellow affiliate I understand the seriousness of getting as much traffic as you possibly can. Not to mention the importance of getting traffic for as little money as possible.
So here's a case study that nominated a winner!
For starters this is for the marketers just getting started and in most cases aren't even close to playing around with their cash when it comes to adwords.
I looked into techniques that spared you as little money as possible. I worked off of a $250 budget. And I used that solely for adwords and I spent 3 hours a day in article writing and submitting to match the adwords traffic and in 21 days the competition drew to a close when articles created the same amount of trafficas the adwords campaign.
By the way all of the traffic went directly to the original Clickbank sales page. (no pre-sell or opt in involved)
Study #1 (The time difference): It took 21 days to generate the same amount of traffic I got from my adwords campaign in a 5 days.

Study #2 (The sales effect): The article marketing traffic converted at 2% where the adwords traffic at 1.36%. Which turned to be the difference of 1 sale.
My Winner
This proves one thing, that anyone despite their wallet size can make money in clickbank. If they have to spend 3 hours writing and submitting, so be it! But at the end of the day adwords proves to be hands down more effective than articles because of the speed of sell and close conversions.
