Users of article marketing know it is the best free technique to get exposure and visitors to their website. Articles can be used for almost anything on the Internet from social networking sites to blogs and each one can contain a one or more links to your main website. Popular sites are the best because it should give your article a great deal of exposure; an increase in visitors to your site should happen quite quickly. This is the benefit of using popular sites that have authority and providing they accept your contribution it will help you as well; do not underestimate the power of trust in the online world.
This process of article marketing by submission to various sites, if carried out routinely, will ensure people read more of your work and actively look for it as your reputation grows. Convincing people of your knowledge in certain areas ensures they will always trust what you write. Although it can take a while, this traffic from people that trust you will help your own search engine ranking; by default this will increase the number of ‘organic' visitors you receive that have searched for something your site has information on. Links from other sites (especially if they are popular) just improves your ranking and exposure; this is of course completely free advertising and can be done over and over again.
A number of links to other relevant sites can be placed in the body text (not too many) when using article marketing. When your articles are good, they get spread around the internet and of course each version will have links back to your own so the more links you have, the more your ranking will grow. Sometimes, however, search engines can take some time before they actually list your site; Google can actually take months on occasion. During this period, the best thing to do is continue submitting your articles to a many popular sites as possible and write more because this can speed the process up.
To increase your website ranking further, you need to be adding more content (preferably unique) to your website (or blog) all the time if you want your article marketing to work. For the most part, people who are directed to your website are not expecting to buy or be sold anything. The majority of visitors are just searching for more information about something. It is once they have entered your site where you have the chance to sell to them. This a little like taking them by the hand so they know what they are buying and most importantly, why. It is this approach that prevents a good many refunds form taking place.
It is this process of article marketing that ensures you will be in business for a long time; this does require you to understand that all of this cannot be achieved with just one article. Another benefit is quality websites (like yours will be) have other websites link to them and use their content as well; each time your article is duplicated on other sites it increases the number of people who can use it. You cannot dismiss just how effective article marketing is at getting people to your site for free; all you have to do is ensure your content is ‘on topic' and unique to have constant visitors.
