Creekside Helping With Pre Marital Counseling

There are lots of pressures on everyone in our society and news of addictions, depressions, financial issues are always in the news. All of this can have a big impact on a marriage especially a new one trying to find it's way. This is where pre marital counseling can be helpful for a couple to get a hold on issues before they tie the knot.

In response to the need for pre-marriage counseling that is free or at the very least affordable, the state of Texas offers a $60 discount to those who complete an 8 hour marriage counseling course before walking down the aisle. Creekside, a local community church now has on staff a trained professional marriage counselor to help people who can't afford the pre-marriage counseling, but who want to take the course.

Open to all members of the community, Creekside has gone above and beyond in making a difference in the lives of others. The class helps couples work on their communication issues and to help address some of the issues that might arise after marriage, before they commit to each other. A couple can truly experience many benefits from a day long course of learning to relate to each other and this class might actually be as helpful to already married couples as it is to those whose intent it to take that walk down the aisle.

Creekside is trying to have an impact in their community and the surrounding areas, so they want people to know that whether they belong to the church or not, no matter what denomination or background they come from, they are welcomed to attend all of the Creekside functions and activities including the pre-marriage counseling course.

There are many who recognize the pre marital counseling class benefits and other organizations are starting to join in to help. It's helpful when churches try to reach out to all people and not just those in their congregation.
