Planning a wedding can be stressful, but fun at the same time and one of the more interesting aspects is organizing the wedding favors. Ideas for treats vary so much in style and cost, that there are plenty of ideas to suit your budget and taste. Favors do not have to be a stressful part of organizing the special day when there are other more important things that require your time.

An easy wedding favor option are flowers which really only require some creativity, and your guests can take home and remember your wedding day. Fortunately, as far as the bride and groom are concerned, apart from choosing which flowers to have, there is little for them to do.

Many people who choose flowers decide on a single red rose for each guest as a symbol of their love. Using a single rose per guest gives an appearance of elegant style. Allowing the staff and or a few family members to distribute to guests can be a gentle gesture, and ensure that no guest is left without a favor.

Unfortunately flowers do no appeal to everyone, some guests may have allergies. Did you know that three in every four wedding receptions are using candy now? We like the idea that a number of receptions have started to eliminate flowers that usually wilt in a few days, and rather use candy, even personalized! How simple is a large glass vase filled with candy going to be in the centre of the table?

Providing each wedding guest with a small elegant container so they can fill it with whatever candy they wish. This could be called a self service gift because all you have to do is supply the candy and something to place it in.

Another option is a small picture frame and if you like, it can be used on the day as placeholders. If you intend to use picture frames as your wedding favors there is a way that you can present them to your guests without have to wrap them! However, by using the picture frames to hold the place cards, you do not have to worry about wrapping them for your guests.

A different but still an easy wedding favor is to supply every guest with a picture of themselves arriving at the wedding reception using the services of a professional photographer equipped with a digital camera. The photos can be printed out whilst the reception goes on and the guests will have a pleasant surprise at the end of the evening when they leave as their photo will be waiting for them. It would also be nice if the photographer could bring along a digital projector so all the photos he had taken of the guests could then be shown on a screen during the reception meal.
