In fact, marriage can be quite a challenge from day one. It is obvious that the minds of two people in love, are not capable of thinking rationally. For the most part, they are dreamers. And because their thinking is clouded by this thing called love, they get married. Shortly after the marriage, reality sets in. There are decisions to be made, questions to be answered and suddenly two people are faced with issues that weren't talked about much less thought about prior to the wedding. Fact of the matter is, a lot of people jump the gun. They get married too soon, and too fast. Be it for love and romance, or for the sake of a baby that's on the way, or two kids just looking for a way to get out of their parents house, improper planning is one of the root causes of marital conflict. Before two people in love decide to become legally bound in matrimony, and take the vows that are supposed to last until death do you part, some "In depth" planning must be done. A marriage is like a business, and every business starts with a business plan. The same type of plan needs to be made for a marriage. Everything involving how money is spent, jobs, children, where you will live and anything that is will be important for the future of the marriage needs to be addressed. Successful businesses always start with a successful business plan, and successful marriages will always start with a successful marriage plan. If you are already married, and are experiencing conflict that could have been avoided had a plan been laid out, remember that it's never to late to put a plan together from that point on. Of course both parties will have to acknowledge and agree to this, and there has to be some level of trust still existent. If this can be done in a civil and business like manner, it will be absolutely conducive to marriage survival.
