Acne is one of the worst skin disorders that I have seen in my life. If not treated on time, it spoils your looks, your beauty. It is prevalent in people of all ages, but is more common among the teenagers. Besides this, the degree by which it affects also varies from person to person. For instance, people with a characterized oily skin have more chances of an aggravated acne problem, as compared to people with moderate to dry skin.
Acne is characterized by inflammation on the skin, with the appearance of red, itchy pustules. These pustules can take the form of very painful structures at times. With acne also occur whiteheads and blackheads. There have been attributed many causes for the acne menace. The common ones are hormonal imbalance, unhygienic maintenance of the skin, excessive oil production from the oil glands, stress and tension, to name a few. Some researchers have also shown that acne is genetically related. Besides this, it is generally said that, there is no one cause to the acne problem. Ace is a result of a combination of all these above-mentioned factors.
So it becomes important for you to figure out the cluster of problems that is troubling your skin. Because the sooner you become aware of the factors, the more sooner you will be in a position to figure out an effective way of treatment.
There are several ways that help you in treating your acne. You can choose from a plethora of these treatments, depending on your skin type and the magnitude of the acne problem that you are suffering from.
An effective treatment that people have realized in this line is treatment with the help of Retin A. Retin A in simple terms can be described as a derivative of the Vitamin A. Vitamin A is a very important vitamin for healthy and vibrant looking skin. The working of Retin A in the body is very simple. It unplugs the acne follicles in the skin. When these follicles are uprooted, they come up on the external surface of the skin. Besides treating your acne, it also works in reducing fine lines and wrinkles on your face.
Retin A is available to you in two forms. Either you can use a topical ointment made from it or you can consume it in the forms of pills. But before adopting any of the means, it is generally advised to consult a good dermatologist or a physician.
