It is not recommended for someone who wants to loose few pounds but for people who have a higher BMI (body mass index). Body Mass Index is calculated with respect to your height and weight. People with higher BMI are more prone to weight related diseases as compared to people with low BMI. A BMI between 18-24 is considered to be normal, over 30 is considered overweight and below 18 is underweight.
