Chronic joint pain is the last thing we plan or hope for to go along with our retirement. After three months, pain is considered to be chronic--and three months of continuous pain is just no fun! The sad fact is that our population is aging, and as it does the number of people dealing with chronic pain is increasing every day. Luckily, because there is such a large number of people dealing with joint pain, there is a market for supplements and medications that help. Of course, when there is a market and money to be made, there is a better chance that companies are working with researchers to find substances to fill the niche.
