Stress is a normal physical response to events that make you feel threatened or upset your balance in some way. When you sense danger whether it's real or imagined the bodies defenses kick into high gear in a rapid.
One main reason that stress affects our sleep so much is because stress causes our muscles to tense, preventing us from being in the relaxed mode needed for sleep. Extended work hours, children's schedules and other elements of current living keep people on all day long. Even after someone is done running around to keep up with a day's schedule, the effects of stress will still affect your body.
About 40 million people in the United States suffer from chronic long term sleep disorders each year and an additional 20 million people experience occasional sleep problems. Losing sleep and always dealing with a lot of stress can really hurt and damage your health, not only are you always warn out but it affects major things in your life.
