Health insurance is vitally important especially for our children. Small children need vaccinations and preventive care as well as treatment for common recurring illnesses such as ear infections and allergies. If your child isn't eligible for free health insurance there is still a very good chance that they would be eligible for very low cost health insurance. The eligibility requirements depend on the number of people in your family and your family's monthly income.
The children that are eligible for this program generally come from working class families where the children are not covered by an employer sponsored benefits package and whose family cannot afford private health insurance.
