I have high blood pressure and am presently taking an ACE inhibitor and a beta blocker.  My blood pressure is still high with these drugs.  My doctor now has prescribed  a Calcium Channel Blocker in addition to the other drugs. I am reluctant to take this additional medication as I have read some bad things about Calcium Channel Blockers and that mixing them with Beta Blockers is a dangerous combination.  Is there anyone taking these same medications and if so do you have any side effects?
