How to Get Rid of Man Boobs

Everyone knows what man boobs are but its taboo to mention them and you never know if you will offend someone who has them.  No guy wants to wear a bra.  It is an embarrassing problem just like discovering a receding hairline.  Man boobs will make you feel less appealing to the opposite sex and down on your self worth, in general.  The best way to get a girl to notice you is by being attractive, right?  Well, it can’t hurt to be easy on the eyes but personality, humor and smile have something to do with it, also. 

 

Also called moobs, man boobs come from being overweight.  They consist of fatty tissue stored over the pectoral muscles.  The best bet is to lower your overall body fat because unfortunately you cannot choose where you are going lose the weight.  As with any other weight loss program, you must stick to a cardio and strength-training fitness routine followed by a healthy diet.  You either have to decrease the number of calories you take in or burn more calories through exercise.    Ideally, it is most beneficial to do both to achieve the fastest results. 

 

Another reason why men might have moobs is due to a medical condition called gynecomastia – a condition in which the body produces an increased amount of estrogen and a decreased amount of testosterone.  This can also happen as the result of taking medications that affect hormonal levels in the body.  A medical professional may dispense an anti-estrogen treatment plan or surgery may be the last option. 


There are also many different exercises you can do to firm up your pectoral muscles.  As stated previously, cardio is a must.  You can do interval training to boost your metabolism, running to promote fat loss, rowing to work all upper body muscles, the elliptical machine for an overall body workout, and playing sports.  You can also add strength training by doing seated chest presses, cable crossovers, bench presses and push ups.  Try these tips for a few months and you are sure to see great improvements!
