The Hypocrites Say: We Believe in Allah Yet They are not Believers

This is a new series (1-15) of Verse No. in the Bible versus the Quran.

Verse No. 15 in the Old Testament says: and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.

Verse No. 15 in the New Testament says: Eliud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob.

Verse No. 15 in the Noble Quran says: there are some people who say: 'we believe in Allah and the last day, ' yet they are not believers.

----------------

The verse No. 15 in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:15

The verse continues talking about the creation of the heavens and the earth, it says: and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.

In the article 14,  and here again, we are in the fourth day of the creation of the heavens and the earth. There was evening, and there was morning of the first, second and third day.  However, God has not yet created the sun and moon.

In the fourth day of the creation, God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years",  Also, it is not the lights in the expanse of the sky that separate the day from the night.  A student in the primary school knows how the day and nights are produced.

----------------

The verse No. 15 in the New Testament is Matthew 1:15

The verse continues talking about the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, and Matthew lists Jesus' ancestors, the verse says: Eliud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob.

Herein, we have no problem in writing the persons' names in the different four versions of the Bible studied.

Fundamentally, the names of the people have no translation, they have to be written as they are pronounced.

This verse, Matthew 1:15 is unique among the verses Matthew 1:2-14

In those 12 verses of Matthew 1:2-14 the names of the same persons are written and pronounced differently in the different versions of the Bible studied.

But in this verse (Matthew 1:15), the names of Eliud, Eleazar, Matthan and Jacob are written and pronounced the same in the different versions of the Bible studied.

----------------

Verse No. 15 in the Noble Quran is Chapter 2:8,

Surah AL-BAQARA (THE COW), 2:8

The verse says: there are some people who say: 'we believe in Allah and the last day, ' yet they are not believers.

However, the verses 2:8-20 were revealed concerning the hypocrites,

The meaning of verse 2:8:

And of mankind are some who say: We believe in Allah, i.e. in the open and we are genuine in our belief, (and we believe in the last Day) and we believe in resurrection after death whereupon our deeds shall be requited, (when they believe not) i.e. secretly nor are they genuine in their belief.

In other words, the verse says: and there are some people who say, ‘We believe in Allah and in the Last Day’ but they are not believers.

The Last Day is the Day of Resurrection because it is the very last day.

Also, the Day of Judgment is called the Last Day too.

Mostly overlooked but doing just the same as their female counterparts. Do they deserve to be classed as sexy too?
