How to control panic attacks without drugs

How to control panic attacks without drugs.

If you have suffered a panic attack before. You have a hard time breathing, your eyes go dark and you find yourself incapacitated.

I didn't experience a single panic attack until my twenty-seventh birthday. I was on a family trip in Auckland, New Zealand and I had out on a plank over a lake. When I turnedaround to go back to Terra firma my sight started going black, and I felt frozen.

Next off I found myself out of breath. A little while later I edged my way back onto the wharf, but if you copy step by step what I'm about to show you, you'll be able to discipline your body to triumph over nervousness and panic attacks.

If you do not train your body how to restrain panic attacks then you risk grim mental disorders down the road a few years. Learn to be in charge of your body by going through subsequent directions right now.

Just like all exercises, it will become easier over time.

Take yourself to a safe place, your den or your car, some place quiet where you can feel absolutely at ease. Even sit down in a good comfortable chair as this will help you release all the stress you feel.

- Next look at your breathing, breathe slowly and purposefully in through your nose and out through your mouth. Use slow deep breaths.

- Next you need to create a secure place in your mind. This might feel unusual at first, but envision in your own mind the kind of place that you would like to be, doing the kind of things you like with the people you enjoy.

- Go into as much detail as you can, think about the clothes you are wearing, other people that might be with you. Your secure place could be a scene from your favourite film or book.

- make a plot of events and imagine yourself living in this secure place as the kind of person you would like to be. Again go into as much detail as you can. In mine I describe to myself the perfume I'm wearing.

Most significantly, when you have every detail pictured completely in your imagination, actually begin to feel calm and happy and carried away to this place.

It's that easy. When you try it a few times you are going to be able to go to your secure place irrespective of what your real life surroundings, as clearly you will not always have panic fits in comfortable chairs in your games room.
