The Basics of Attacking 2
Another great video tutorial for beginners, this time Coach Brittany Harry will... Panic disorder is characterized by attacks of terror and fear. Usually, the attack is accompanied by the following physical symptoms like dizziness, faintness, feeling weak, sweating and a pounding heart.
As the attack is occurring, people with panic attack may also feel chilled or flushed. In fact, they may also have the feelings of numbness or tingling in their hands as well as nausea and pain in the chest.
Mentally, the sufferer will also feel a sense of unreality and impending doom. They are also afraid of losing control.
In fact, people who suffer from panic attacks are usually quite worried about those physical symptoms mentioned above. If you or any of your friends are worrying about these physical symptoms, it might be an indication of a panic disorder.
It is normal for people suffering from panic disorder to think that they are having a heart attack and that they are going to die very soon. They may also think they are going to lose their mind.
What makes things worse is that there is no fix time for panic attack to occur. It can happen at anytime and anywhere. Therefore, the sufferer can never predict when the next attack is going to happen.
It can happen when they are at home. It can happen when they are sleeping. It can happen when they are attending a meeting. It can also happen when they are driving.
Due to the unpredictability of a panic attack, sufferers are usually worried about when the next attack will occur. The reason for this worry is because while it is alright for the attack to happen at home, it can be extremely embarrassing or even dangerous when the panic attack occurs during a meeting or when he/she is driving.
Fortunately, panic disorder can be treated successfully. If you suspect you are having a panic disorder, do not delay and seek treatment as soon as possible.
