Let’s be brutally honest with ourselves – opportunities are everywhere! But if you are everywhere at the same time, I can guarantee that you won’t get many things done because your mind is scattered all over the place.
Business builders like us will be constantly bombarded with new opportunities and I’ve learned the hard way that it takes a lot of effort and discipline on my part to focus on succeeding in only one!
Since the inception of the Internet, there are so many opportunities available right now and yes, they offer you a chance to earn lots and lots of money, but in essence… you will only need ONE opportunity to make lots of money!
One good website is enough for you to make $100,000 a year and all you need to do with your ONE successful website is to test, tweak, improve and add on to it.
Here is one very successful example:
Take Mike Dillard and his business model… he focuses on building only ONE business – Magnetic Sponsoring and nothing else… and he makes a 7 figure income by selling it over and over again!
Every now and then, he partners with many different marketers to create courses like Black Belt Recruiting, MLM Traffic Formula, Copywriter’s Guild Membership, PPC Domination and even how to make tons of friends from Twitter and Facebook!
All these are just extensions, and add-ons for his million dollar business model.
My business partner – Khai and I have successfully duplicated this ‘one website’ model for our wildly successful ‘accident’ – MLM Fire Sale and we’ve managed to ‘milk’ that cash cow over and over again and we’ve generated a 5 figure income every time we launch and ‘re-launch’ the product.
Focusing on one opportunity only is not easy… especially when things do not look right or when you are facing struggles.
It is really tempting to jump ship and switch to a different alliance, but the down side is, you will wind up starting all over again – most likely from scratch… so don’t make the same mistake and become a network marketing junkie or a business opportunity junkie.
At the end of the day, it is all about focus and determination. Better to get one thing right than trying to do 100 things wrong.
