Is There Any Difference Between Network Marketing And Internet Marketing

There is a stark difference between the network marketing industry and the Internet marketing industry.

Both are inherently different markets, yet I see many similarities and synergies that can be used to develop both markets with great efficiency.

First, let’s examine both markets’ perspectives.

Do you believe that a lot of Internet marketers are afraid of MLM? Internet marketing is a business that requires you to spend a lot of time in front of the computer, so it is a different social requirement compared to MLM. I guess most Internet marketers are afraid of MLM because they don’t like the way people prospect (cold calling, door-to-door product peddling and hotel meetings). However, this is an entirely different case if you can bring your MLM business online and use the same prospecting methods the same way an Internet marketer drives traffic.

On the other side of the coin, many MLMers are told that they cannot do their business online because of company restrictions or that their upline erroneously tell them that a business without face-to-face interaction is simply ‘not long term’.

It is possible to combine the high-tech and high-touch mechanics of both Internet marketing and ‘offline’ network marketing. All you need to do is use a little innovation and pretty soon, you will have huge income sources from both channels.

You can use SEO, affiliate marketing, web copywriting and blogging to generate leads and cash flow on the Internet. These two methods will help you to get lots of new downlines without the fear of approaching them face to face. After all, you are capturing leads through the net so you do not need to worry about rejection.

Your downlines in your network marketing business is also a good source of additional income for online marketing. Take for example, the mindset of a network marketer – they are one of the most avid business people in the world and they are more than willing to invest in anything that will benefit their business. So you can get your downlines to become your affiliates for your E-products or online businesses. You can even get people from other lines to do it as well!

Your downlines can also opt-in to your mailing list thus giving you additional channels to offer them products or promotions. The key is to find what good value you can give to your subscribers, prospects and downlines. The sky is the limits so don’t be ‘close minded’. Always innovate new ways!
