Lead Qualification and Its Effect on the Success of Your Business

When your lead qualification method is funneling credible prospects into your business pipeline, success is inevitable.

Here are a few questions you need to consider:

Is your lead qualification process targeting WalMart or Saks Fifth Avenue? In other words, are you looking for the bargain variety? The quality of your leads reflects the quality of your business. In my opinion, this is not the place to be cutting corners.

How do you capture new leads? For example, if you’re using a lead capture page, you need to be sure that your campaign is using the correct keywords and that there are some filters in place so that only credible prospects are being collected.

If you are talking to live leads, are you adequately trained in the screening aspect of the lead qualification process? The single most important rule is learning to listen. Is the prospect looking for a get rich quick scheme? Your ideal prospect is somebody who will be excited to work with your team to achieve targeted goals and eventual success.

Once you learn to screen and prioritize your leads, you STOP wasting your valuable time.

Lead qualification is the front line in the battle to secure your share of the market. When you execute a distinctive lead qualification process, your business pipeline will produce the credible prospects and quality leaders that will help you business to flourish.
