MLM Business Success: Avoid 3 Fatal Mistakes When Building Your Business

Your MLM business success is within your reach unless you are falling in traps of these fatal mistakes. Avoid them and your business will flourish.

Do you ever wonder why your best efforts seem to be producing very little results? Do you get frustrated and ready to throw in a towel?

If you are new to MLM/Network Marketing, and most likely think that everything you’re doing, everything you are being tough, everything you are being told should produce results. You go to those meeting, you have your list of 100 people, you make cold calls, you buy leads, and you have your WHY…

Are you being lied to by your support team, by your upline (or aren’t you), or you are just not “cut” out for this industry (also not true).

So, what is wrong with your efforts? Is as simple as making just a few “tweaks”, just a few adjustments to your activities and fix a few holes in your execution and your mental state of mind.

During the course of my career, witnessed many new business owners and entrepreneurs falling in the traps that I am about to share with you.

1. Do you have unrealistic expectations of success?  

You can’t and will not become “overnight sensation”. It takes time, effort, study and …yes… some investment of money to get things rolling. It takes dedication, perseverance…You have to be willing to give before you get.  

I am sure you heard many “stories” of how people make tons of money in MLM and on the internet and it all seams like a very short period of time. This is NOT typical of ANY business, contrary to all the hype.  

Building a business is like planting a seed in the ground; you can’t plant the seed and then stand over it demanding that it produce. It has to take root, and you have to provide the nourishment and take care of it to make sure it doesn’t die in the ground. 

It’s not productive to have the get-rich-quick mindset; it takes TIME to build a successful business. What you can do is to stop looking for get-rich-quick and focus on YOU.  Invest in YOU and promote YOU. 

2. Do you treat you business as business or is it just a hobby to you?

Develop timetable, put together calendar, plan your activities. Every evening put together a task list of 5 action items that you are going to complete the next day. They have to be action items such:  

·        Add 3 add groups to your AdWords campaign  

·        Write 2 newsletters

·        Follow up with your prospects (and DO NOT talk to them about your business opportunity and definitely not at the first contact with them but find out how you can help them instead)  

·        Add article to your Blog  

·        Put together video message for your YouTube channel
