You can ABSOLUTELY be successful in the MLM business if you develop the right skills. Key to your success in MLM is your ability to position yourself in front of your target audience.

Stop abusing your warm market, and wasting your time on a cold market. Learn how to communicate with people and satisfy THEIR needs, wants and desires. Learning the right MLM strategies, and how to use them, will change the dynamics of how you do business, and your results will soar.

So, where do you start if you are to grow an MLM business? Your first task is to know your product inside and out. Know it's benefits, how it works, why it's unique! Know your companies' compensation plan. You MUST be able to answer your prospect's questions completely and accurately. Once you establish your expertise, they are many more times likely to purchase from you, and pay just about any price that you may ask!

The next MLM strategy is to identify your target audience. Who are they? What is their pain? What do you have to offer them to cure their pain or fulfill a need that they have? Look at yourself...you are most likely an example of your target audience. If you are marketing a product that you use (which you SHOULD be), you are part of your target audience. Consider gender, age group, the need that your product satisfies. For example, don't try to market anti-aging skin care products to 20 year old males...you certainly won't get results that way!

The next step to grow your MLM business is to get people to come to you first! Think about yourself for a minute. If you want or need something, do you wait for someone to call you, or knock on your door with it? Of course not. You either go to the store that has what you want, or search on the internet for information. So, in order to build your network marketing business, you must create a message that attracts your audience, and learn how to position yourself as an expert (Have I mentioned that before? That's because it is HUGE!). Positioning is the skill and practice of identifying your target audience and placing yourself (your marketing message about your product) in front of your target audience. So, how do you do this? One of the ways to do that, if you are using the Internet, is pay-per-click advertising. This is an excellent way to get yourself exposed to the most people.

Pay per click advertising (also known as PPC) is a model used on search engines, like Google or Yahoo, where you, the marketer,only pays when someone actually clicks on your ad to visit your website.

You bid on keywords - words or phrases people type into search engines when looking for information.

Learn what keywords your target audience is using when they search for what they need, want or desire.There are numerous tools available to help you find the keywords that match what your audience is typing in the search bar.

One of the key MLM strategies is to listen to the conversation in your prospects head...what is their pain? What are they looking for? Where are they looking? Your job is to get inside that conversation, understand what it is they are truly looking for, and provide the answers to their questions. As a marketer, using the right keywords is critical to your success.

Once you have built your keyword lists..and there will be many, each reaching out to different groups of prospects looking for specific aspects of what your product has to offer..you will write the appropriate ads to go with these groups of keywords (known as adgroups). Then, when someone types in a keyword search matching one of the keywords on your list, your ad may be shown.The quality or relevance of the ad in relation to the search, and/or how much you bid on your keywords will determine where your ad appears. Ideally, it will be "above the fold", or on the first page of the search results.

Writing good ads and choosing keywords that your target audience is using is an ongoing process of testing...trial and error. There are several tools out there to help you refine your skills...some free, and of course there are many companies that offer software or services that you can subscribe to or purchase for help in developing keyword strategies. The choice is up to you, whether you choose to tackle learning this skill set on your own or seek guidance,it is a skill that will positively impact your MLM business. Learn how to get prospects coming to you...already wanting what you have to offer, by positioning yourself in their path when they search for whatever it is they need, want, or desire.
