Different top earners have varying views and tips for network marketing success. Some do it the traditional way. Giving away flyers, inviting friends to seminars, and making business presentations in coffee shops are just some of the "old school" methods that worked for others.
Meanwhile, during the past few years a new breed of MLM distributors have used the power of the internet to build their multilevel downlines. These internet networkers have learned how to use pay per click advertising, article marketing, and direct response tactics to gain more leads, customers and signups to their MLM program.
So which works? The classic way or the internet way? Here's my answer: Both can work effectively. You can build a huge downline using both online and offline marketing strategies. The key factor to keep in mind is to reach your target market and stick to your marketing strategy until it produces dramatic results.
Personally, about sixty percent of my current customers and downline members are a result of online marketing efforts. But I do not discredit the other forty percent of my business results that come from offline promotional strategies. Diversification is one of the most useful tips for network marketing success. Put your promotion in as many channels of distribution as possible. Use article submission sites, AdWords, blogging, and forums to gain leads from the internet. However, you should never forget putting up offline ads and getting in touch with prospects personally, if possible. Doing that can double your results by a giant percentage!
