The Ice Cold "Warm Market"- 5 Tips to Avoiding the Tundra Zone
Definitions by Wikipedia: Warm Market-In sales and direct marketing your warm market is said to be people you know, which could be friends, relatives and existing customers, even referrals are said to be warm.
You're HOT! You just joined your first Network Marketing Company and you are ready to Set the Market on Fire!
You are sure this Network Marketing thing will be a stress free way for you to enjoy personal and financial success. You're on your way to making it happen!
Your Millionaire Mentors from your Upline have directed you to first start making a list of your friends, family, acquaintances and anyone you may have come into contact with within the last 10 years.
This is officially called your Warm Market.
Your Upline may have provided you with a Memory Jogger. This is basically a list of every service industry, association, occupation or other prompting word that may trigger a potential prospect.
Your brain is whirling and you are seeing success in your grasp!
Your list is made and you are off!
You're through your immediate family, on to your relatives, friends, teachers, coaches.
Next, your accountant, your plumber, your dentist, your doctor and there's no stopping you!
Everyone must be told about your awesome Product and Opportunity!
A funny thing happens next...
You notice your friends stops returning your calls. You're not invited to the family reunion. All the clerks avoid you in the grocery store.
Acquaintances seem to ignore you.
Your kid's teacher cancels your Parent Conference.
And, if this isn't your first Network Marketing Company or MLM, you may be hearing some whispering or snickering behind your back.
It's got to be your imagination...right?
OK, maybe it's not that extreme, but tapping your Warm Market with your first Network Marketing or MLM business or your 5th can blast a Subzero breeze into your relationships.
Your enthusiasm, your credibility, your persistence and even the fact that your product or opportunity is really amazing, may jump start your career.
Building your business following this method, however, could not only damage your friendships but lead to a poorly developed foundation for your Downline.
Regardless of what type of business or industry you are in, you want to build on solid ground.
You certainly don't want to have your foundation "melt" out from under you because you build it with people more interested in helping you than helping themselves.
Make sure you are building with those people that are of the same mind set and will work with you to continue to build success for everyone on the Team.
Here are 5 Tips to Avoiding the Tundra Zone:
1. Learn to Avoid the Warm Market as your first point of contact!
Remember, these are your family and friends are they're nosy! They see you becoming successful they'll start asking you what you are doing.
You can make them beg for the information! Or, just seize the opportunity to share the good fortune!
Let them come to you.
2. Build a Marketing Campaign based on leads of people who are like minded or have a need or desire for what you have to offer.
This can be done through many different avenues including purchasing leads directly or generating your own through the Internet.
Your best Prospect is a Targeted Lead!
3. Use the Internet to build your business. Develop a website or have one designed for you with a landing page that will generate leads.
Don't rely solely on the website the Company has or one that was given to you by your Company. That site was designed for information not lead generation!
4. Use an Auto Responder. This a good means for capturing the data your site collects. This data is your lead source and it is the qualified leads you want!
These people are your real "Warm Market". They are looking to get more information on what you are offering them and took action to get it.
5. Use the Telephone! Get proficient on the phone contacting the leads that are waiting for you to contact them not avoiding you at all costs!
Call them while they're hot, follow up and let your amazing enthusiasm for your superior product/opportunity do the rest!
Network Marketing is a People helping People business.
Your Success and savvy business practices will keep your Warm Market from turning Ice Cold and keep your family and friends by your side!
Remember, you are 100% responsible for making your success happen!
The proper training and marketing tools are essential to attaining True Success Without Stress.
